What is Coco Chips?

Loose packing in poly bags 50 kg / 30 kg

  • Coconut husk is chopped into < 10mm size. This product is widely used in the hydroponics industry and Gerbera flower cultivation. These crushed materials are available in deferent sizes depending on the applications. Chips can be used as an individual growing medium or can be mixed with coco materials such as coco peat and coir fiber. Can be packaged in 50 Liter or 30 liter bags also, we can cater washed or buffered chips as well. This medium mixes well with other ingredients and can be used as a component to create a wide variety of orchid mixes. It absorbs water well and holds it like a sponge releasing it as the roots drink come to us. Used as a single growing medium but makes ideal replacement for sphagnum peat. Shredded coconut husk chips are a renewable resource.
